Program description:

We love to tell the “underdog” success stories in our organizations - the unlikely candidate who overcame the odds to find success. But for HR and talent professionals, these stories should make us worry. An underdog, by definition, is someone who had the potential to do something great, but people didn’t see it because the person didn’t match someone’s vision of success. The problem with underdogs is very closely related to corporate efforts to achieve success in the effort to unleash hidden potential, capitalize on diversity and inclusion, and elevate performance organization wide.  This session will explore the dynamics of spotting, assessing, and capitalizing on the potential within organizations.
