Featuring: Drs. Jenn Griffith and Kelsey Medeiros

 Date: June 4, 2020

Location:  Online Event (Zoom)

Time:  3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Program Description:

In this talk, Drs. Jenn Griffth and Kelsey Medeiros will discuss the current state of sexual harassment research and our take on how the field can contribute to the reduction of workplace sexual harassment and assault by previewing our projects on accountability, sexual geography, and training design.

Speaker Information:

Jenn is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at UNH where she studies the workplace impacts of psychological autopilot triggered by attributions, expectations, emotion, and identity. Most recently, she has focused on workplace policy and interventions both pre- and post-hire to address identity-based bias and sexual harassment. She has served in numerous positions guiding, conducting, and implementing research-driven interventions, including as a project manager on federally funded grants and contracts; as a research consultant for two state-level governmental agencies; and as a partner on organizational and leadership development projects in the energy and technology sectors.

Kelsey is an Assistant Professor of Management at UNO where she researches workplace troublemakers. Specifically, she studies those who behave unethically, push past boundaries in pursuit of creative solutions, commit and report sexual harassment, and the women who break down gender norms and stereotypes to pursue leadership roles. She is also a co-owner of the ethics consulting firm, Ethics Advantage, which specializes in assessing and improving employee decision making.
